I try my best to approach sessions in a way that makes you feel comfortable and at ease during you session. I'm a little awkward and hate posing myself, so for my clients I try to make it as stress free as possible. For full sessions, I let the kids play and get used to me, take the time to warm up to posing. We can do posing prompts, I will help fix your hair and hands, and make you feel so much more natural in front of the camera.
This journey into photography started off small with me taking photos here and there from a little camera my papa got me. I took photos of my family, nature, and pups, which grew to photos of friends and their babes. After my son, Isaac was born, I really dived deep into photography to remember all those little details and capture him grow.
What makes photography important to me personally is because I have Aphantasia. Which means I can't picture anything in my mind, or also known as "mind blind" I only see black. Photos are SO compelling because when a moment passes, a photograph is how I can revisualize that moment. It hit me after my brother passed. My mom explained she could see his face in her mind, and I couldn't, so it's truly photographs that help me see him.
From loved ones, to special memories, I want to capture photos that "freeze" all the big moments and little ones in between so that you can always have a keepsake to look back on.
